General Information

How can I contact you?
We are located at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in Room 2.120AA, which can be found through glass doors near the main ticket counter. You may also call our office at (512) 471-3309 or email us at TexasBaseballCamp@athletics.utexas.edu.

How can I receive brochures through the mail?
Please email your physical address to TexasBaseballCamp@athletics.utexas.edu to be placed on our mailing list. Items received through the mail are limited to camp brochures and registration applications.  

How can I receive email notifications for upcoming camps?
You may either email your address to TexasBaseballCamp@athletics.utexas.edu or type your email in the space provided on our home page www.LonghornBaseballCamp.com.

Will camps still be held in all weather condition?
Yes. Camp will be held rain or shine. Please dress according to the weather.

Will my camper receive meals?
You must be registered for Full Day, all three sessions, or Overnight to receive lunch. Overnight campers are also provided breakfast and dinner.

Will my camper be assessed any additional charges?
Additional charges may come in the form of airport transportation fees, additional overnight stay, parking, and/or any damages to the dorm or facilities.

Camp Information

What do I bring to the camp?
Bring all completed medical forms, which can be found on our website under the “Admissions” page. Please make sure to provide a physician’s signature on the physical form. Any remaining balances must be completed at the time of check-in. We will not accept cash at registration – only credit card, check, or money order. All campers should bring glove, cap, and turf/tennis shoes (or cleats if preferred). It is recommended that you bring your personal bat or any other equipment you feel necessary. We will provide bats if you do not have one. All other equipment (balls, helmets, etc.) will be provided. Please put your name on any equipment you bring to camp – as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Overnight campers are responsible for providing their own toiletries, swimming trunks, extra clothes, and spending money (for things like snacks and arcade games). Linens are provided.

When should I arrive at camp?
Check-in begins at 8:00AM. All medical forms are due and any remaining balances can be paid at this time. If you arrive late, you must check in at the camp office in room 2.120AA.

What are the scheduling options within each camp?
Instructional/Developmental Camps offer a morning session (9AM – 12PM) and a afternoon session from (1PM – 4PM). The Full Day option (9AM – 4PM) includes lunch. The Overnight option includes two nights in the dorm and meals. Breakfast and dinner for overnighters are served at the dorm and lunch is catered to the field.

Specialty Camps and Advanced Specialty offer three sessions which occur every day of camp. Only the skill indicated covered during each session. Hitting session (9AM – 11:30AM); Defense session (11:30AM – 1:30PM); Scrimmage (2:30PM – 4:30PM). You may register for any combination of sessions. Registration in all three sessions includes a $25 discount and campers will be provided lunch. The Overnight option includes two nights in the dorm and meals. Breakfast and dinner for overnighters are served at the dorm and lunch is catered to the field.

All-Star Camp is Full Day (9AM – 4PM) and Overnight only. The Overnight option includes two nights in the dorm and meals. Breakfast and dinner for overnighters are served at the dorm and lunch is catered to the field.

Advanced Camp is Full Day (9AM – 4PM) and Overnight only. The Overnight option includes two nights in the dorm and meals. Breakfast and dinner for overnighters are served at the dorm and lunch is catered to the field.

What do I need to wear?
Please dress according to the weather. All campers should bring a cap and wear sunscreen. Shorts or pants are permitted (sliding shorts are recommended to be worn with shorts). Catchers are required to bring cups. Campers should wear turf/tennis shoes or cleats. Metal cleats are not allowed in any indoor facility. If metal cleats are preferred, please bring tennis shoes or slip-ons to change into upon arriving and leaving the field.

How do you accommodate different ages in each camp?
Campers will be split into groups according to age and ability for each camp in order to provide the most relative instruction.

Who will be coaching at the camp?
The University of Texas Baseball Camp coaching staff is comprised of current and former UT athletes, UT coaching staff, university/college/junior college coaches, high school coaches, and highly esteemed private instructors.

Will there by any representative from other colleges/universities be present?
Yes. University of Texas recruitment staff will be present at all camps. Other university/college representatives will be present at all All-Star and Advanced camps.

Will I receive an evaluation of my performance at camp?
An evaluation will be provided to all participants of the All-Star Camps.

How do I register?
You may register online with a full credit card payment or by a mail-in registration form with a minimum $50 deposit (credit card, check, or money order).

Is full payment required for registration?
Online registration requires a full credit card payment. Mail registration requires a minimum $50 deposit and can be paid by credit card, check, or money order. Any remaining balance must be submitted at check-in. We will not accept cash at registration – only credit card, check, or money order. If paying by check, please include your name, current address, driver’s license number, name of camper, and camp attending on the check.

When does registration close?
Registration for each camp ends on Thursday the week prior to the first day of camp.

Are there any discounts available?
We are currently offering group discounts for parties of six or more campers. All participants must register with mail-in registration form. Please contact our office for your discount code prior to registration. Discounts will not be issued as a refund.

Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?
Scholarships and financial aid are not provided through the University of Texas Baseball Camp due to NCAA regulations. We do accept scholarships from non-profit, unaffiliated programs such as Neighborhood Longhorns.

What if I want to switch camps?
If you would like to switch camps, please call our office at (512) 471-3309 so that we may assist you. All changes are subject to a $50 charge.

What do I need to cancel my registration?
Please contact our office in order to receive a refund, all cancellations are subject to a $50 charge.

How does pricing work?
Prices listed includes all three days of camp.

Can I fax my registration form?
We request that you do not fax any registration forms because we do not provide a secure line.

Medical Information

When are medical forms due? (Physicals)
Medical forms should be turned in during check-in on the first morning of camp. Please do not mail medical forms. A physician’s signature is required on the physical form.

What if my camper has any medications and/or allergies?
Our training staff will be on hand to go through medical forms and answer any questions at the time of check-in. Please turn in all medications with directions and any other necessary information to the trainer. All trainers are certified.

Overnight Accomodation

Can my camper request a roommate for overnight stay?    
Campers can request roommates for overnight stay during the registration process. On the mail-in form, please write the name of the requested roommate in the space provided. With online registration, type the requested roommates name when prompted. A requested roommate is not guaranteed if not specified on your registration form. We do our best to accommodate all roommate requests, but please note that it can not be guaranteed.   

Can my camper reserve additional nights in the dorm?
Yes. Each additional night in the dorm is $50. This charge includes meals. You must request the additional nights prior to registration deadline.

Can parents stay at the dorms?
Yes. Parents may request to stay in the dorm, however, this does not guarantee a private suite. If you would like to stay in the dorm with your camper, please write parent in the roommate space provided on the registration form. Parents may also reserve a room at the Marriott Courtyard at a discounted rate during camps by stating that they are baseball camp parents.

Transportation

Do you provide airport transportation?
Transportation can be arranged to and from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport by University of Texas Baseball Camp staff. Round trip service will cost $35 and will be added to your registration balance to be paid at the time of check-in. Flight number and time of arrival and departure must be provided prior to the registration deadline of camp.

How do overnight campers travel between dorm and field?
Bus transportation is provided with coaches serving as chaperones.

Parking

Is parking available at UFCU Disch-Falk Field?
Parking passes may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $18. Passes are valid for all three days of the camp. Parking passes must be purchased prior to the registration deadline. Only if parking passes are not available for purchase during your camp, free parking is available in Lot 104 (Yellow lot). All other lots will be ticketed by the University Parking and Transportation Services. Parents may park in Lot 104 during primary drop-off (7-9AM) and primary pick-up (3:45-5PM) without being ticketed.

Where do I pick up my parking pass?
Parking passes may be picked up at check-in. Passes must be displayed face-up on the dashboard of
your vehicle.

Do you have camp t-shirts?
All campers will receive a camp t-shirt at the conclusion of camp. Repeat campers will receive special
t-shirts. All participants will also receive a Texas Baseball Camp lanyard.
